Part time / Full time | Overnight shifts available
$23 – $26 per hour
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the home care aide include, but are not limited to, the following-
- Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
- Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing.
- Meal planning and preparation
- Performing household services including housekeeping, laundry,
- Assisting clients with medications reminders which are ordinarily self-administered.
- Reporting changes in the client’s condition and needs to the administrator or care designer.
- Completing records regarding services performed.
- Driving to appointments or to run errands.
- Accurately records all hours worked.
- Remains alert throughout the shift in case client requires assistance, responds immediately to any such needs by providing the assistance required, or calling theCompany for guidance.
- Participating in all required entry-level and annual training requirements.
- Maintaining an active home care aide registration with the State of Ca. Dept. of SocialServices Home Care Services Bureau.
- Other duties as assigned by the administrator or designee.
