Job description:

Starts – Immediately

Part time / Full time | Overnight shifts available

$23 – $26 per hour

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the home care aide include, but are not limited to, the following-

  • Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
  • Help clients with their ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) that are within the scope of practice for a Registered Health Care Aide.
  • Assisting clients with personal hygiene such as skin, mouth, hair care, bathing, and dressing.
  • Meal planning and preparation
  • Performing household services including housekeeping, laundry,
  • Assisting clients with medications reminders which are ordinarily self-administered.
  • Reporting changes in the client’s condition and needs to the administrator or care designer.
  • Completing records regarding services performed.
  • Driving to appointments or to run errands.
  • Accurately records all hours worked.
  • Remains alert throughout the shift in case client requires assistance, responds immediately to any such needs by providing the assistance required, or calling theCompany for guidance.
  • Participating in all required entry-level and annual training requirements.
  • Maintaining an active home care aide registration with the State of Ca. Dept. of SocialServices Home Care Services Bureau.
  • Other duties as assigned by the administrator or designee.
