Responsibilities and Duties:
- Passion for delivering Happier Aging and client focused care in home and community settings
- Assisting clients with activities of daily living: meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, personal care
- Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
- Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
- Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
- Reviewing progress notes prior to a visit, completing records and documentation accurately and carrying out all assignments as requested.
- Service the Sunshine Coast area
- Visit times (7am – 8pm) weekdays and weekends
Requirements:
- 2 years previous caregiving experience
- Exception communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proof of BC Health Care Certification (Registry #)
- Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
- Must be able to legally work in BC, Canada to apply for this position
- Valid driver’s license
