Responsibilities and Duties:

• We are looking for an LPN that is looking for casual hours. Some of the LPN hours would include wound care, IM injections, Insulin and other standard nursing tasks.
• Reviews the care plans arranged by the case manager (Care Designer) prior to beginning a visit, completing records accurately and carrying out all assignments as requested such as insulin administration, catheter insertion and removal, medication administration (IM/Sub-Cut), wound care, etc.
• Responds to Leadership Team regarding scheduling inquiries and updates within the agreed upon timeline
• Engages in open communication with your Care Designer when opportunities to elevate your client’s experience and care are identified
• Delivers comprehensive professional nursing care consistent with the care plan, nursing assessments and client needs.

Requirements:

• Practicing and active registration with BCCNM
• Feel comfortable going into peoples homes to provide 1:1 care
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position
• Valid driver’s license is required
